I Wanna Be Loved By You - #624 Monroe,

music. The star often sang the title
songs, here she does that and wows us all again. Purchased: 3/1/99 -

Marilyn Monroe, Grand Ecran I - #155 Monroe,
Marilyn 1988 Bella Musica 1/1/88 Norma Jean!
Her personality and charisma come through on this one. Good to have for anyone that loves Marilyn
and loves her movies. She has less of
a reputation as a singer than she should have. Talent here is deep. Purchased: 1/10/90 -

Days Of Future Passed - #87 Moody Blues,
The 1967 Deram 1/1/67 the best all the Moody albums, Knights in White
Satin became an anthem in a rock and roll wilderness during the 60's. The song has been recorded over and over
and over again but these guys wrote it and they do it best. The theme here starts with an intro of the
song in a prelude and then ends with the full song as coda. You do not want this album to end Purchased: 4/15/95 -
J&R $12.99 Rated: 5 |

Seventh Sojourn - #496 Moody Blues,
The 1972 Threshold 1/1/72 Doing what they do well. It's their standard stuff but this is a technically poor
transition to CD. It would be a 4
otherwise. Rock & Roll Band is a rock classic Purchased: 7/1/96 - J&R
$7.99 Rated: 3 |
To Our Children's Children's Children - #90 Moody Blues,
The 1969 Threshold 1/1/69 Another one of the Moody's wonderful expression in
rock and roll. Thoughtful as all are
but not the very best but at least very good. Purchased: 6/1/90 - J&R
$12.99 Rated: 4 |
Jagged Little Pill - #579 Morissette,
Alanis 1995 Maverick 6/13/95 I remember the moment I head the first single cut
"Hand In My Pocket", the sound is that original. I was driving a rental car toward
Scottsdale Arizona, on McDowell, in July 1995 This is one album that hits you
over the head. A landmark sound,
vulgarity and all. This music is as
gripping as the first time I head "Satisfaction" by the Rolling
Stones. Most of these songs were
released as singles. Song 13 is a
cappella and not listed on the album notes. Purchased: 7/20/95 -

MTV Unplugged - #697 Morissette,
Alanis 1999 Maverick - Warner
Bros 11/9/99 This is the way I like to hear an artist. Unembellished and real. Songs with soul and little editing, an
artist singing their heart out. A
very good album. Purchased: 12/14/99 -

Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie - #604 Morissette,
Alanis 1998 Maverick Reprise 11/3/98 Alanis Morisette does it again, writes, sings and
makes us wonder how she can do this stuff so well. I'm only on song 3 of this album but it seems every bit as good
as "Jagged Little Pill". It
is as every bit as good as Jagged Little Pill. This woman’s voice, her sensibility, and the rock music that
supports these qualities, grabs me with a hook around the neck, pulls me in
and won’t let go. Her sound swims in
my head as I go about my day to day. None of it rhymes, maybe that it is why
critics don’t like her music. TH Purchased: 11/7/98 -
J&R $12.99 Rated: 5 |
Moondance - #509 Morrison,
Van 1970 Warner Bros 1/1/70 A rock and roll classic that is really jazz. The voice is novel - sometimes it is
wonderful and sometimes it seems to get on you nerves. Purchased: 9/15/97 -
Columbia House Rated: 5 |
