Sweet Dreams - #673 La Bouche 1996 RCA I think this was left here by Carlos
Oliviera. It is not at all to my
liking and I would call it a zero. By
the time it is being entered in the data base I am sure it is a cut out on a

Best Of Patti Labelle - #544 LaBelle,
Patti 1982 Epic 1/1/82 LaBelle going on and on and on. A soul music survivor from the 60's
continues to make soul music in the soul music way. The woman should be a household name and is not. Who understands pop music if this women is
not a household name? Purchased: 11/4/96 - Best

Wander This World - #614 Lang, Jonny 1998 A&M 10/20/98 Give this a 4 as a venture in the durability of it
all. Lang is a 17 year old I think in
1998 and this music is a transition from his Cry to Me songs that were
recorded when he was 14. Amazing
voice as a pubescent male and it seems logical that he would be burned out at
25. One might even expect a Janis
Joplin end. Forgetting the pathos, this
young man is talented as a blues singer.
His voice is husky and masculine and sound. I love this album. Purchased: 12/8/98 -

Drag - #490 lang, k. d. 1997 Warner Bros 1/1/97 Even Not her best effort. Too low key, she doesn't push up her vocal volume. A themed album but no passion, no
continuity. Drag is a dragging me
down. Purchased: 8/16/97 -

Ingenue - #444 lang, k. d. 1992 Sire/Warner Br 1/1/92 The Masterpiece if you like kd. This is her best of the struggle and quest
that made her famous. After this
album she gets distracted by success Purchased: 8/1/92 - $14.99 Rated: 5 |

All You Can Eat - #670 lang, k.d. 1995 Warner Bros 10/10/95 I completely forgot I had this album until this
entry date. It is a good album and
probably the last of kd's before she went high fashion. Her ascendancy has
seemed to make her boring so this is a good album to remember what she was Purchased: 10/12/97 -

Desert Vision - #390 Lanz &
Speer 1987 Narada Not that great music is somehow one of my
favorites. I love to listen to this
as I do trek across the desert in Arizona.
New Age suits driving along perfectly or as companion when riding a
trail. Purchased: 1/1/89 - J&R
$14.98 Rated: 5 |
Natural States - #389 Lanz &
Speer 1985 Narada 1/1/85 Lanz has a characteristic to his music that makes
this stuff timeless yet not current.
The album is reflective of a "Natural State". It all goes with the wide open skies of
the west. Another winner of Narada
Equinox series Purchased: 1/1/89 - $14.99 Rated: 4 |

Cristofori's Dream - #164 Lanz, David 1988 Narada Lotus 1/1/98 Best Lanz, best new age. Most likely the most Pop like new age album in my
collection. Good, relaxing easy and
sweet. All of it. Each song has more character that most new
age music. I like it a lot. Only problem is it is so good that it has
been played almost in total on the weather channel during the local
forecast. LOL Purchased: 1/1/92 - J&R

Skyline Firedance Orchestral
Works, The- #395 Lanz, David 1990 Narada 1/1/90 If you like David Lanz, if you like solo piano, if
you like new age, if you like "new acoustic" you will like this
album. An accomplished pianist who
led the charge of New Acoustic. Both the
solo and orchestral works are good. I
like the solo works better. The
orchestral disk seems overproduced.
It is obvious the a classical music producer of a different caliber
might make a better orchestral disk. Purchased: 4/1/91 - J&R
