Goodbye  - #94

Cream

1969 Polydor 1/1/69

This is a rock era legend group but it is also the farewell of it.  Eric Clapton has some good riffs but the album is a disappointment.  The only song is "Goodbye".  I used to follow a group, whose name escapes me, in Northern Wisconsin, in the late 60's who did the song much better than is done here.  This album is an example of Cream's style and nothing else.  It was not a really good album then and it is especially not now with the poor technical translation.

Creedence Clearwater Revival

1976 Fantasy 1/1/76

This is a great album if you can take 70 minutes of Creedence Clearwater.  It's had to imagine this many hits from a group today.  It just doesn't happen.  Wonderful sounds from the 70's

Purchased: 1/1/91 -  $14.99

American Dream - #148

Crosby, Stills, Nash

1988 Atlantic 1/1/88

A good comeback try.  The harmony is there, even some of the magic.  The best of their tries to regain glory after the crash and burn of the groups drug habits and personal problems in the 70's.  I bought this too as vinyl gift in Brazil for friends that carted me around the country side.

Purchased: 8/12/90 - J&R $12.99

Live It Up - #70

Crosby, Stills, Nash

1990 Atlantic 1/1/90

Okay CSN rock and roll. I didn't know CSN had gotten back together to record until I saw this at the outlet. Bought it as a cutout for a very good price.  Not the CSN of old but enjoyable just the same

Purchased: 1/1/91 - Tower Outlet $4.99

So Far Greatest Hits- #147

Crosby, Stills, Nash

1974 Atlantic 1/1/74

The best of all harmony of the groups of the 60's with Great Harmony.  Music has a hole without this group.  Can there be another point like this in American popular music?  This music is a high in American social conscientiousness in the 60's and 70s.  This is a landmark for the last half of the 20th Century.

Sheryl Crow - #515

Crow, Sheryl

Caw!  Best new female Rocker around.  The new rockers for the 1990's are women.  She leads.

It Won't Be The Last - #402

Cyrus, Billy Ray

1993 Mercury 6/23/93

I bought this album when Cyrus was in the press everywhere.  He seemed to get endless attention but it must have been because all the girls were chasing his good looks and tight pants.  IT had to be the reason because I see this man being almost devoid of talent.  There  is little interest for me here
