Innovation - #458 Cardon &
Bestor 1993 Word Perfect 1/1/93 A free album with an interesting mix of world
music. If I were to buy this one I
could be happy with the choice. I
never did get the CD-rom portion of the music to work. Purchased: 11/19/93 - Free
$0.00 Rated: 4 |
In Concert Carreras Domingo Pavarotti - #42 Carreras
Domingo Pavaroti 1990 London 7/7/90 How can you fault the trio of greatest tenors of
this era. Pavarotti outshines them
all but all are great. One of these
albums is enough. There are
additional releases of this trio on other titles but having this is all I
want to have. Purchased: 12/25/91 - $12.99 Rated: 4 |
That Unhinged Thing - #52 Cebar, Paul 1993 Shanachie Guaranteed not to miss. LOL a money back promotion at J&R. It is not bad music but I cannot name what
style it is in. Not to my taste. I wish I would have gotten my money back. Purchased: 10/3/93 -
J&R $11.99 Rated: 3 |

Chance, The - #566 Chance, The 1993 Skydoor Records 1/1/93 This is heavy metal and I like it, believe it or
not. Bought on a whim, and I like
it. Surprised my nephews a lot when I
pulled it out and play it for them.
The album is considered an EP, extended play, not as a single or a
full album Purchased: 1/1/95 - Tower
Outlet $2.99 Rated: 4 |
Crossroads - #133 Chapman,
Tracy 1989 Elektra 1/1/89 Very good Chapman. The critics didn't like this one. Why? It seems to me that
it is as good her first album, "Tray Chapman". Critics always want something different
than good. Purchased: 1/1/89 - $12.98 Rated: 4 |
New Beginnings - #502 Chapman,
Tracy 1995 Elektra 1/1/195 This is Tracy's comeback after a long hiatus as a
recording artist. She successfully
weathered her coping with success phase.
She can still write even though she has left the world she used to
write about. Purchased: - J&R $16.98 Rated: 4 |

Telling Stories - #707 Chapman,
Tracy 2000 Elektra 2/15/00 A very good album with some new sounds from
Tracy. A lot of producer influences
here, and they are good ones. Tracy has
always been strictly folk but the music on this platter pushes some of those
boundaries. Purchased: 3/23/00 -
BuyMusic.com $10.95 Rated: 4 |
Tracy Chapman - #297 Chapman,
Tracy 1988 Elektra Best new "folk" in a long time. She does have social consciousness, it
makes it folk. Great potential shows. Purchased: 1/1/89 - J&R
$13.98 Rated: 5 |
Matters of The Heart - #501 Chapmna,
Tracy 1992 Elektra 1/1/92 Believed to be Tracy's First. It is good, she is good. Although this is classified
as adult contemporary or pop it is really fold, it has a conscience. Listen
to her words and think. Purchased: 4/1/97 - J&R
$4.99 Rated: 4 |

Genius + Soul = Jazz / My Kind Of Jazz - #720 Charles, Ray 1997 Rhino 1/1/97 When does this man get recognized world wide and
for all time and by everyone? This
compilation of 2 albums shows his musical genius without the vocals on the
first portion and everything else later Purchased: 5/20/00 -
J&R $7.99 Rated: 5 |
His Greatest Hits, Vol. 2 - #296 Charles, Ray 1987 DCC Compact D. This man has the soul of the nation in his
heat. How can there be any more to
say about music than this man says in each of his songs. Purchased: 2/1/90 - J&R
$10.99 Rated: 5 |
Porgy And Bess - #18 Charles, Ray;
Laine, 1989 RCA I can see no reason for this album to exist. Maybe Ray Charles needed money, may be he
was doing a favor for Cleo Laine. She
seems to be very over the hill, of a state of burned out and / or drugged
out. A really truly bad album. It should have never been released. Purchased: 1/1/89 - Tower
